Submissions for Artful Bears are now open and the deadline to apply is June 15th

Hello Friends and Fans,

On behalf of the BBFF team, we wanted to reach out and let you know that YES, we are moving forward with the 21st annual festival, taking place October, 16-18th! The executive board is working on several contingency plans and variations of the traditional festival and will keep the public updated as we approach October. Submissions for Artful Bears are now open and the deadline to apply is June 15th.
The Artful Bear tradition is a favorite among Milford’s residents, businesses of and around Milford as well as festival-goers! It’s hard not to love the Artful Bears - so much care, creativity, and work goes into them! Each Artful Bear is lovingly crafted from a foam hunting target into a piece of original artwork to be enjoyed around town for the weeks leading up to the festival. The Artful Bears are a cherished part of the Black Bear Film Festival’s legacy and bring an additional layer of fun to the event.
Artful Bears are created by all levels of ability and skillsets. Professional artists, as well as art-lovers and novices, have all created bears and everyone is invited to apply!
Download your application using the button below.
You may also visit www.blackbearfilm.com to learn more about the Artful Bears and see past years' Bears. Applications must be received by June 15th. You may submit a digital copy to BlackBearFF@gmail.com or mail hard copies to PO Box 986 Milford, PA 18337.
