Fundraiser Event Sponsored by Music In The Park to Benefit Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County!

Milford, PA – June 19, 2020 – Fundraiser event online sponsored by Music in the Park set to benefit the Ecumenical Food Pantry of Pike County and features musicians with deep connections to the Milford and Pike County areas.

This April in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic, Matthew King released the song "Stronger Together". The anthemic song reminds us that actions focused on unity, love, inclusion and collaboration are desperately needed to bring together widening divisions within our country.

Charlie Reynolds & Mike Zimmerman - past and present "Music in the Park" coordinators - contacted Matthew with the idea of creating a "Playing for Change" style performance of "Stronger Together" featuring musicians from the region. Each musician recorded video and audio for the song in isolation at home. The audio tracks were then edited and mixed by local musician & producer Ken Fox. Video was edited by Abby Zimmerman. The outcome is presented below (PLEASE SHARE).

For a free MP3 download of "Stronger Together" go the Matthew G. King’s website at this link: https://matthewgerardking.com/

In the spirit of the song, we chose to use "Stronger Together" as a vehicle to encourage donations to Milford Pennsylvania's Ecumenical Food Pantry. Unprecedented economic hardship brought on by the COVID19 pandemic has made food pantries a lifeline for many families. Please help if you can. We're always stronger together.

You can donate directly to the food pantry at the donate button below the video at the following link:
