Grand Opening - Milford Journal

The Pike County Chamber of Commerce recently had a Grand Opening of their latest member the Milford Journal. Three veterans of print media have pooled their resources by the bend of the Delaware River to launch the Milford Journal. Amy Bridge, Jimmy Sheehan and James Bridge have come together to create a magazine that perfectly serves the stunning beauty and variety of this area. Ms. Bridge says "We will be covering subjects from local artists to business, history to nature and food, too. In short, the Milford Journal will be uniting talent and community, residents and visitors in a collaboration of graphics, imagery and solid reportage." The Milford Journal will be published nine issues a year and will be available free of charge at shops, restaurants, hotels, etc in 10 counties in the tri-state area. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce announces the TEA (Team - Empowerment - Action) Open House. Come join together in this informal assembly to exchange ideas in an open forum. You can stop in and have tea, coffee or a light snack, meet the chamber staff, tour the office and talk to the Executive Director, Danielle Jordan. Held at the Chamber office located at 209 E. Harford St., Milford, this community gathering will continue on the every fourth Thursday of every month from 9:30am - 11:30am, beginning April 23. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce recently held a Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting at Bark Avenue Dog Grooming Salon, Inc. located at 1035 Rt. 6 in Shohola, just past Peter’s Restaurant. Owner Lisa Kogan and her husband renovated the large facility with all brand new equipment to pamper your pet with hair cuts, blow dry, ears cleaned, nail filing and clipping as well as offering a Doggie Day Care in the “Doggie Den”. There is a large inside holding area with toys, beds and treats where your dog can spend a few hours or the whole day and be free to play, socialize or just hang out while waiting to be picked up.
