Labor Day Family Camp Weekend
Labor Day Weekend: August 30-September 2
Adults $225 / Child, Commuter, Day Rates
Bring your friends & family to experience the best of what PEEC has to offer. Interpretive hikes, animal presentations, canoeing, campfire and more! Includes three nights lodging & meals from Friday dinner - Monday lunch.

Volunteer Day – Pike County Day of Caring
Saturday, September 7 – 9:00am-2:00pm
Free
Lend a hand and help us out with some seasonal projects. This is the perfect day to become involved with our volunteer program! Preregistration required. Lunch will be provided.

Geology Hike
Saturday, September 7 – 1:00-3:00pm
Free for PEEC Members / $5 for Non-PEEC Members
Take a hike on the Fossil Trail with Paul Kovalski, aka Dr. Dinosaur, as we discuss the geology of our area and what makes our park unique.

Bridge the Gap: River Paddle
Sunday, September 8 – 9:00am-3:00pm
$10
Join us for a paddle down the Delaware! Bring a lunch and a water bottle and dress for the weather. We will provide extra water and snacks. Choose between a canoe or kayak. Preregistration is required and begins at 8:30am on August 8th. *Funding for this program provided by the William Penn Foundation.*

Bug Exploration
Saturday, September 14 – 10:00am-12:00pm

Bugs are everywhere! Come join us as we go discover some insects on our trails and learn about what makes them so unique. Don’t worry; they’re not as scary as they look!

Owl Prowl
Saturday, September 14 – 7:00-8:30pm

Pennsylvania is home to a number of different species of owls. There are a handful of different species that live around PEEC. We may not see any, but we can definitely hear them!

Introduction to Orienteering
Sunday, September 15 –10:00am-12:00pm
$5
Come learn how to use a map & compass on our orienteering course. We’ll show you the basics before you try to find all the points. Space is limited – call early!

Ecozone Discovery Room!
Sunday, September 15 – 1:00-4:00pm
$2 per person
Climb into a bald eagle’s nest, crawl into a bat cave, explore a beaver lodge, and dig in a fossil pit! Explore this indoor discovery room and enjoy hands-on exhibits on natural history, sustainability and the local environment. No registration required.

Fall Flights: Birds & Brews
September 20-22
$215 / $165 commuter-Call for Day Rates
Come out for a wonderful weekend of bird watching and beer tasting. Enjoy guided hikes that teach how to identify birds by sight, sound, and habitat. Program is geared towards beginners and experts alike. Saturday night we’ll provide transportation to one of our local breweries and the 1st round is on us! Includes two nights of lodging and meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch.

Learn some primitive and modern fire making skills. Try your hand at a flint & steel fire and more! Ages 10+ please.
