Autumn provides a wonderful array of natural materials which have shaded into the brilliant colors of crimson, bronze and gold. Want to learn how to make a pumpkin centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table using both dried and fresh flowers? The Master Gardeners of Pike County will present a workshop which will do just that!
This hour-long workshop is scheduled for Saturday, November 9th at 10:30 am. It will take place at the Dingman Township Branch of the Pike County Library located at 100 Bond Court, just off Log Tavern Road in Dingman Township. Gretel Walker, Master Gardener and award-winning floral designer, will show you simple secrets to building a centerpiece which is a show-stopper!
You can then take a long walk in the woods, collect a variety of leaves, twigs, dried plants and such to make your own!
This fee-free demonstration is open to all who are interested. Registration is encouraged by calling 570.686.7045.
