Instagram Along The Delaware May 20, 1-3 p.m. Meet at River Road Cul-De-Sac in Barryville, N.Y.


BARRYVILLE, N.Y. - Want to learn how to take better digital photos? Have a desire to learn how to use the visual social network Instagram? Curious about the history of River Road in Barryville, N.Y.? Tim Sohn of Sohn Social Media Solutions and John Conway, Sullivan County, N.Y., historian, present "Instagram Along the Delaware" on Saturday, May 20, immediately following the Barryville Farmers’ Market.

The program will begin with a walk along River Road, promptly at 1 p.m., meeting at the cul-de-sac on River Road. Tim will show you how to take better digital photos with your smartphone during the walk, and John will walk you through the history of River Road. We will walk and take photos.

At 2 p.m., a class on Instagram, led by Tim, will follow at the Artists Market Community Center, 114 Richardson Ave., Shohola, PA 18458.

At the Artists Market, you will create a video using the photos you took on River Road. Attendees are asked to have the Instagram and Ripl apps downloaded on their smartphones before the class begins.

Light refreshments will be served. The cost is $25.
