Confluence: Land, Water, and Wildlife Photography Contest and Exhibit
The Delaware Highland Conservancy announces its second annual juried photo contest for the Upper Delaware River region, open to both amateur and professional photographers, with the chosen award-winning pieces to be exhibited at the ARTery Gallery in Milford PA in November 2019.
The Conservancy invites photographers to capture and submit their striking nature inspired photos of the region in four categories: landscape, wildlife, water and macro images. Seeking to showcase the diverse wildlife, plants and special places in the Upper Delaware Valley, and the mission of the Conservancy to save these treasures for future generations.
Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality, composition, clarity, quality and impact by a panel of judges.
Nancy Kiesendahl Bolch, co-owner and president of Kiesendahl + Calhoun Fine Art, Ltd. which represents over 50 artists and curates numerous shows in a variety of venues. She serves as a consultant to Woodloch Pines, her families business.
Mary Sue Sweeney Price, Director Emerita of the Newark Museum, which displays one of the nations finest collections of American art. Past president of the Association of Art Museum Directors, ArtTable Inc., Commissioner of the American Alliance of Museums and is a Director of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy.
David Soete, formerly a senior resource specialist with the Upper Delaware Council and a nature photographer whose images are used regularly by local, state and federal agencies.
Marta Hallett, president and CEO of Glitterati Editions, a NYC based publisher of distinctive fine art, popular culture, fashion, architecture and photography books.
