It’s a sure sign of Spring when members of the Milford Garden Club team up with the staff of Home Depot to celebrate the success of the Milford Garden Club’s Community Garden. For the last five years, along with the support of the Supervisors of Milford Township, gardens have been planted which provide fresh produce and flowers to be distributed at the Ecumenical Food Pantry.
A huge carrot cake was presented during an employee appreciation luncheon, along with a note signed by all members of the Milford Garden Club. Manager Matt Caterinicchia commented: “We are a business rooted in the community and are happy to support this worthy project.” The Milford Garden Club will open up the garden in mid-April for spring planting.
