The Prom – A TriVersity Annual Signature Event

The Prom, a TriVersity annual signature event, will celebrate its Fifth Anniversary on April 22nd at the Inn at Hunt’s Landing/Best Western. This year’s theme, chosen by our young adults, is “Celebrating Broadway.”

Our goal is to raise funds to ensure a magical experience, but more importantly, especially in the current environment, provide an evening that is safe, free from bigotry and judgement and where all in attendance can enjoy living their truth. To help us meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals such as yourself.
Our innovative concept, a “Prom for all ages,” began five years ago as a heartwarming opportunity to show our youth, many of whom struggle every day, that their lives and social experiences can be enjoyable and memorable even during these teen years. By giving, you'll be supporting our LGBTQ* and Ally* youth and adults, helping to provide an evening in which those living in the greater Pike County area can celebrate diversity and unity.

Tickets are $55/adults and $35/Students. We do not turn anyone away due to a lack of funds to attend. In 2016 almost one-quarter of attendees came thanks to the generosity of businesses and people like you. You can make a general donation or cover the ticket(s) of attendees. The majority of funds collected are used to create the prom experience and to sponsor attendees. Excess funds, if any, go towards TriVersity programs.
• Donations of $500 or more will receive two Prom tickets
• Donations of $350 to $499 will receive one Prom ticket
• All donors will be listed in our Prom Flyer
In 2016 a broad spectrum of attendees, ages 13 to 94, basked in the respect and comradery of the more than 260 people in attendance. At least one-third of those that participated were allies. You, as a member of the greater Pike County community, can contribute to a model that others in society should follow, as it allows for the full and free participation of all. By backing this event you’re demonstrating support for our vibrant and strong community. Sponsoring events like this creates local connections with LGBTQ and ally consumers, one of the fastest growing and most dynamic market segments.

Donations may also be made in the form of items for a silent auction or with items be included in gift bags (minimum of 300) to be handed out to all attendees. For more information, contact
