Pike County Chamber Installation Dinner Sold-Out

On January 27, 2016 the Pike County Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Installation Dinner and General Membership Meeting where they inducted the new Directors, Honorary Directors and Economic Development Authority Reps and installed the new slate of Officers for 2016. The ceremony and dinner was at The Waterwheel Cafe in Milford. About 50 local business and organization representatives were on hand to witness the ceremony, network and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and dessert afterwards. The new 2016 Officers are President, Jody Welsh of Two Ladies Cleaning Service, 1st Vice President, Arlene Quirk of Keller Williams Real Estate, 2nd Vice President, Simone Palmer of The Dime Bank, Secretary, Ellen Scarisbrick of Wayne Memorial Hospital, Treasurer, DeWayne Haygood of Jeff Bank, Past President, Philly Viscardo of Farmers Insurance Agency and Non-Officer Director, Jack Boyle of Middletown Community Health.

The mission of the Pike County Chamber is to accelerate business growth in Pike County, Pennsylvania, by representing business in promoting economic development while preserving and enhancing our communityís quality of life, by providing value-added programs and benefits to promote membership and to help members achieve success and by building partnerships and coalitions for business to effectively work with community, government and educational organizations in the shaping of public policy.

In order to continue to carry out that mission, the Chamber continues to search for ways to provide more, complete and up-to-date information, services, and benefits to Chamber members and the community. Becoming a Chamber member will provide an individual or business with benefits and advantages only offered to members. The annual investment fees of members provide the funding necessary to continue and expand the many programs and activities that, which are designed to benefit local business as well as the community.

PIKE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HOSTS SWEET HEART DINNER DANCE

The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be hosting their 1st Annual Sweet Heart Dinner Dance located at the Best Western Inn @ Hunts Landing on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.

Come out and join the Pike County Chamber of Commerce along with the business community for a night of dancing with DJ Flow and donít forget to stop by the Flash Shack Photo booth and get your picture taken with your family, friends or co-workers.

Ticket price is only $35.00 per ticket which includes a buffet style dinner along with your entertainment and photo booth!! Pike County Chamber to Induct New Directors and Install New Officers for 2016

On January 27, 2016 the Pike County Chamber of Commerce will hold their Annual Installation Dinner and General Membership Meeting where they will induct new Directors and install the new slate of Officers for 2016. The ceremony and dinner will be at The Waterwheel Cafe in Milford. Any person or business wishing to attend must call and make a reservation at 570-296-8700. The fee for this wonderful dinner and dessert is $35.00 for Pike Chamber members and $45.00 for non-members and will begin at 5:30p.m.

Pike County Chamber Holding Third Thursday Seminar January 21, 2016 - Corning Natural Gas Purchase of Pike County Light and Power

The Pike County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) plans to continue its Third Thursday Breakfast Seminar Series in 2016, beginning January 21st, 2016. The Chamber is proud to welcome as its first Keynote speaker of 2016, CEO/ President Michael I. German. Mr. German will present Corning Natural Gas Holding Corporationís (CNGHC) plan to purchase Pike County Light and Power Company (PCL&P). PCL&P currently serves electric distribution to approximately 4,600 customers in the Boroughs of Matamoras and Milford, Milford and Westfall Townships, and the northern portion of Dingman Township. PCL&P also serves natural gas to 1,200 customers in the Borough of Matamoras and Westfall Township. Discussions will include electric distribution reliability, gas and electric infrastructure, and natural gas expansion.

The Chamber welcomes Mr. German and his business to Pike County. The Breakfast will be held at The Hotel Fauchereís Delmonico Room in Milford, PA, and begins promptly at 7:00 a.m. The cost to attend is $10.00 per person for Pike Chamber members and $15.00 per person for non-members. Please RSVP to reserve your space by calling the Chamber at 570-296-8700, no later than January 15th. All reservations are non-refundable.
