The Delaware Valley Schoolís Future Business Leaders of America Class and the Pike County Chamber of Commerce are hosting their 1st Annual Tricky Tray fundraiser. The event will be held this Saturday, April 25th at the Delaware Valley Middle School Gym in Milford, PA.
The Pike County Chamber is working in conjunction with the Delaware Valley Schoolís Future Business Leaders in an effort to showcase local and surrounding businesses to the community. Businesses/organizations donated trays of items that include their products or gift certificates for their services to promote their businesses. All proceeds will benefit the DV Future Business Leaders of America and the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. There are close to 100 trays and some Grand Prizes as well.
Doors open at 12:00p.m. and drawing begins at 2:00p.m. in the Delaware Valley Middle School Gym, 258 Routes 6 & 209 in Milford. Admission is $5.00 which includes a sheet of 20 tickets. Posted on Pike County Chamber of Commerce is hosting Business Education Seminar Series
The Pike County Chamber of Commerce is kicking off a Business Education Seminar Series with its first seminar entitled: Whatís Your Plan? Learn about Business Plans & Pick an Option That Works for You! Whether you are in business or considering starting a business, a plan is crucial to your success. In this session you will begin to construct the pieces of the plan or update what you already have. From the executive summary to the financial projections, Donna Simpson, Consultant Manager of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will provide tips and resources to make writing a plan easier. This session is for anyone seeking clarity on the direction of their business.
The Business Plan Seminar will be held on April 28th at the Pike County Public Library in Milford, PA in the downstairs meeting room from 5:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. The cost is free for Pike County Chamber members or $20.00 for non-members. Whether you are starting your business from scratch with ideas or you want to dust off and update your current business plan, this would be for you. The Business Education Seminar series will continue with the following seminars in order starting with Improve Your Credit, The Inís and Outís of Social Media and Learning about Customer Service.
